Victoria Primary and Nursery Schools Public Meeting

Wednesday 28th Janaury 2009:

Govanhill public meeting against School Closures was held tonight at Holybrook School.  Marks the start of the campaign to save Victoria Primary and Nursery Schools. Meeting was well attended with lots of parents and grandparents of Victoria kids plus some of the kids – about 60 or more people. Likely to be a good turnout from that campaign for the protest in George Square on Thursday 29th January for the Full Council Meeting – with the Education Institute of Scotland trade union hiring a bus for parents and kids.
